About Energy Manage

Who we are & what we do

“Our mission is to help households in or at risk of fuel poverty to save energy, save money and change behaviours for the better.”

The Energy Manage story so far

The founders of Energy Manage first met 15 years ago as a group of housing officers, tenancy advisors, community development workers and trainers. They had a shared passion for helping people get the support they needed in challenging times.

The idea behind the organisation was born in 2020, and Energy Manage (Community) CIC was officially launched three years later. As a team, we have a background of working with charities, not-for-profit groups, community and voluntary groups as well as directly supporting households in or at risk of fuel poverty.

Together, our co-founders have worked for local councils, housing associations, advice centres and housing and homelessness projects, and are trained in safeguarding both children and vulnerable adults. Our advisors are trained in energy advice and counselling skills, and we have experience in delivering training on subjects such as Mental Health Awareness, Managing Boundaries and Dealing with Challenging Situations.

We are grateful to work with partner organisations including Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership, The Mole Valley Employment & Skills Hub, Dorking Foodbank, Lower Green Community Centre, Guildford Borough Council’s Community Wellbeing Team, SES Water and more, in order to reach and support households in additional need.

We offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and person-centred approach to customers in energy crisis, empowering them to confidently manage their energy usage and bills moving forward.

We specialise in supporting those in particular areas of Hampshire and Surrey.
