About Energy Manage

Who we are & what we do

“Our mission is to help households in energy crisis and to raise awareness of energy usage, payment and tariff options and how to change behaviours for the better.”
The co-founders of Energy Manage first met 15 years ago as a group of housing officers, community workers and trainers. They had a shared passion for helping people get the support they needed in challenging times.
The idea for Energy Manage was born in 2020, and Energy Manage (Community) CIC was officially launched three years later. As a team, we have a background of working with charities, not-for-profit groups, community and voluntary groups as well as directly supporting households in or at risk of fuel poverty.

Together, they have over fifty years of Social Policy, Business & Finance and Housing experience, and are trained in safeguarding both children and vulnerable adults. Our advisors are trained in energy advice and counselling skills, along with the experience of delivering training on subjects such as Mental Health Awareness, Managing Boundaries and Dealing with Challenging situations.

We are grateful to work with partner organisations including Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership, The Mole Valley Employment & Skills Hub, Dorking Foodbank, Lower Green Community Centre, Guildford Borough Council’s Community Wellbeing Team, the Fuel Bank Foundation, Scottish and Southern Electricity Network, SES Water and more, in order to reach and support households in additional need.

We aim to offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and person-centered approach to customers in energy crisis, empowering them to confidently manage their energy usage and bills moving forward.
